If you are a local group working to benefit the community in Abbey Ward or Battle Ward then you can apply for funding from this new pot! The deadline for applications is approaching soon, so don't miss out!

“Community First” is a government-funded initiative supporting the local communities of Abbey Ward and Battle Ward. Both Wards have panels made up of local people that will distribute funding to groups to benefit their local area and the communities living there.

Priority 1. Increase cohesion between different communities
Priority 2. Reduce anti-social behavior
Priority 3. Improve the local environment

You can apply for a grant of up to £2,500 from Community First.

For more information or to apply get in touch by emailing:
Battle Ward - battleward.reading@rva.org.uk
